We seem to have gotten on the bad side of karma...last night I noticed that our kitchen ceiling was leaking...come to find out the WOOD walls of the shower upstairs were leaking, into the floor and ceiling of the kitchen below it. Who puts wood walls in a shower anyways??? Clearly - those were the work of a previous owner of our house.
Our friends Jon & Jasmine were nice enough to come to our house to help tear off the sheetrock and figure out what the problem was.
We got slate tile today and have a contractor coming tomorrow...the work begins!
