Maxine visited on Saturday, and while Dad & Brandon worked on the kitchen, the dogs ran wild in the backyard. Sydney does not like to play with the girls, so this has been the extent of his activity for the weekend.

The hole has now turned into a framed hole!

ONE MORE PROJECT! The kitchen is almost done, so why not start on something else...We decided to take a wall out of the breakfast nook to open it up and let some light in. Project started...

Clint and Scott just redid our entire staircase and it looks GREAT!

While in Seattle we also went to Northwest Trek. It was a chilly day but was really fun. We saw both carnivores (in their own habitats) and herbivores, which get to roam free while humans tour their environments in a tram.

We spent last week in Seattle and had a great time. We went on a tour of Chateau Ste. Michelle, an excellent winery not far outside the city. Afterwards, we went to Red Hook Brewery right across the street. Ang is not a beer fan so Matt got twice the normal beverages on that tour!

PROGRESS! Tile is started, as you can see Brandon is hard at work, with the supervision of two very knowledgeable puppies...

Details on the kitchen are coming along - the copper sink and faucet set up is perfect, the Tivoli/Sirius gives us great music all the time!

We still need to do the backsplash and crown molding - we are about 90% there!

Countertops are in and they look beautiful!
